Lash lifts are one of the most sought after in salon treatments at Mobile Hair and Makeup Artistry.
This is all part of her normal day for Monika, who is a qualified beauty therapist.
The reason lash lifts are so sought after is that you can do anything with them that you can do with your normal lashes, all the while looking amazing. This is not the case with extensions.
What Happpens During The Treatment
During a lash lift, your lashes are lifted from the roots, so they point up to your brows. They are then treated and at the completion they look amazing. This has the effect of opening your eyes, allowing more light to reflect from the retina making your eyes appear larger and more alluring.
Whilst we are doing your lift, we also tint your lashes. This usually makes them appear longer than you would have ever thought they could be.
Another great feature of a lift is that no matter how much you cry on your wedding day, there will be no panda eyes.

Do Lash Lifts Damage Your Lashes
If done properly as lash lift won’t damage your lashes.
Your lashes are like any other hair on your body, they have a certain lifespan before they fall out, just like the hair on your head. I am sure you have had an eyelash fall out, or even an eyebrow.
The average lifespan of an eyelash is approx 150 days.
Don’t panic, you won’t lose them all because as soon as a hair is plucked from its hair follicle a new one begins to grow
Just like the hair on your head, eyelashes grow slightly faster in warm weather because heat stimulates circulation and encourages hair growth
Your lashes, like the rest of your hair, are mostly made up of keratin which can also be found on the outer layer of our skin and nails
Therefore, if after you have had a lash lift, and if it was done properly, any lashes which fall out were probably nearing the end of their life when the treatment was performed.
